Our treatment team consists of highly skilled professionals who use effective techniques and current modalities. Our clinical team includes a psychiatrist, licensed therapists, and associates, all of whom bring comprehensive knowledge and expertise to the treatment experience.
The term co-occurring disorders (Dual Diagnosis) refers to a drug and/or alcohol problem coupled with a mental health disorder. 417 is designed to help the adolescent address both conditions while in treatment.
Clients who graduate as alumni can benefit from our free alumni program. Our alumni are encouraged to attend our weekly alumni group after graduation. This gives them an opportunity to stay connected to 417 staff as we provide a safe, loving, family environment. Alumni can also serve as peer mentors and role models to our newer clients who may still be struggling in their early recovery. Being a 417 Recovery alumni is a privilege that many clients aspire to achieve.
It’s important to be aware of warning signs your child may be struggling. You can play a critical role in knowing when you child may need help. Although mood swings are common during adolescence, approximately one in five adolescents has a diagnosable mental health disorder.
Mental health and substance abuse issues affect the entire family, and studies have shown that the best outcomes for treatment depend on the family’s understanding of and participation in the therapeutic process. The family component of treatment is a critical aspect of what we do and why our clients have such great success.
